hmm yeah, I get that it's usually evidence aswell, but can there be something else?

since if I go down the road of looking at the evidence obj, i need to look if any of the evidence obj key/values are "updated"

I'm not very familiar with Disputes. you may want to ask Stripe support this type of questions: https://support.stripe.com/contact
i need to look if any of the evidence obj key/values are "updated"
when you get an any .updated event, you can check the data.previous_attributes to see what exactly changed: https://docs.stripe.com/api/events/object#event_object-data-previous_attributes
