Yes the Connected Onboarding is for onboard your user as a Connected Account to your Stripe account, as a Platform

#

You can choose the Connected Account type of express/custom/standard. Express and Standard will always requires your user to onboard with Stripe

#

Custom can hide it and you will need to collect their information themselves. But it's for flexible and advanced usecase

Depends on which liability you mention. If it is the liability to collect information, yes

I am referring to Negative balance liability

#

Looks like with custom API onboarding, Negative balance liability is on my platform as opposite to stripe

#

Also, I have another question.

I would like to request customer signature on request. Is that a functionality of Stripe? I saw that there is something with “signature” inside of the Charge object
