Hello, unfortunately I think the Customer Portal may not know how to handle trials at the moment but I am looking in to this and will get back to you

arf 😅 is there an alternative? because it's very restrictive for the customer.

The alternative would be hosting your own page that makes an update subscription call. I am not seeing a way to keep trials with the current customer portal. So I can put a feature request for the future, but for now building that page would be the best way to go unfortunately

Oh, I have to change my entire process. I use this great portal to avoid hosting my own page. 😅
I use the checkout page and the portal to add Stripe to my SaaS. :/

Yeah, I am sorry. The portal is very helpful and building your own page is definitely a much bigger lift

Unfortunately I can't promise if or when the feature will be added, so for now I'd reccommend implementing the page if your integration needs this functionality.
