@clever cloud our take is that yes they digitally signed that mandate by agreeing to pay on your payment form. After confirmation of the PaymentIntent a Mandate is created as a record of their acceptance
Thank you @stone thistle but how is that equivalent to the SEPA regulation? The customer is required to be displayed a mandate document with the creditor identifier and the mandate reference a digitally sign than. As far as I can tell this information is not displayed in the payment form (at least when using test keys).
I don't know much about the regulations. I don't think it's required to show them the mandate and our terms in PaymentElement should be enough. We do generate a Mandate with a URL you can use to link them to.
