I'm using Google Chrome, so Google Pay shows up.

if you are using Safari, then it would be Apple Pay.

Because to my colleague's earlier point, you're rendering the card and apple pay icons yourself above the payment element

If you use the payment element, accepting apple pay and google pay is built in, so you wouldn't need to render those buttons

Yeah it should show if you view the checkout page in safari and have a card added to your wallet

Apple Pay in Safari and Google Pay in Chrome. You'll need to be logged into your google account with a card added to your wallet. Same thing with apple pay
