Hi ๐
How are you collecting this information currently?
local in a database in sql server managment studio
later when we host the software then not local anymore
So you have this data already when the customer makes a purchase?
Are you creating Customer objects in Stripe?
we want to do that from stripes because otherwise the customer has to fill out the form twice
on our website and on stripes
What "stripe" form are you talking about?
does the customer not have to give personal information to make the purchase
That entirely depends on how you integrate
This forum is intended to help developers with specific API questions. In order to provide you with help, I am going to need you to reframe your question around specific Stripe integrations.
You can start here https://docs.stripe.com/payments/accept-a-payment
okay thank you
do we get a message or email if someone purchased
or do we have to look on the stripe website
It sounds like you need to take a step back and review our documentation carefully. There are a number of different ways you can integrate with Stripe depending on your business model. To be certain you make the right choices, you need to understand the different ways Stripe works.
