Does your account already have a public distribution app? If so, you won't be able to upload another app within the same account with public distribution

Hey, it doesn't have any public apps

I've tried this in a couple accounts that don't have any public apps just as a means of troubleshooting and I can't seem to get the app to be a public app so i can use external testing

Are you trying to upload in test mode?

Hmm that is indeed unexpected. I've had trouble with public apps in test mode before. It should work fine in live mode..

I'd recommend writing in via our support page
