I also have Link enabled and I should Apple domain verified because I have had apple pay show up at checkout. I also have the domain registered as well

I don't think it is related to domains per se. Given it works on Chrome, I'd expect it to work on safari too

Okay so I confirmed with a colleague too. We often use a smart targeting heuristic to render Link when we think it will likely help conversion which is why link isn't showing up on Safari.

I'll flag this as a painpoint internally to see if we can make it easier to debug this

Interesting, how come it does show up in dev/preview though?

Kinda sucks since most traffic for me is iOS Safari ๐Ÿ˜‚

Since it is in test mode, we likely just default to not applying the heuristic there..

Is the heuristic something special with CardNumberElement? I've used PaymentElement before and Link would show up there I believe

Each element has different sets of heuristic, yeah so that might be the reason why it would behave differently

Do you have an estimate of when you'll have more info from debugging? Just wondering if it's like a 30 m thing vs a couple hours

And if it is just the heuristic, is it just doomed for me to use the CardNumberElement? LOL

It is def on Stripe's end. This isn't something you can control from your integration.
