It's already deprecated to a certain degree. For the most part, Stripe will leave you the ability to use the legacy product for a long time, but we won't make updates to it and it might become incompatible with newer version of the API.
For example, the Card Element was deprecated almost 3 years ago, but it's still something you could use, even though it's hard to find documentation about it now.
