hey there, can you share what you're referring to and snippets of your code to show how you're integrated?
the react PaymentElement should display a customers already saved payment methods, similar to how it works on your react native implementation
The mobile & web payment elements are different, so might not behave exactly the same way depending on what you're trying to do
Before I share code, just wondering then is there any element on web that is all encompassing the same way as native?
I'm guessing the PaymentElement doesn't do what I need
This is a feature we're working on right now that I expect to be available soon
I think I was told before about getting access to a beta version of it? Is it possible to get that and use it in our production app or no?
Very frustrating as I have to refactor and build in a separate way for handling payments on web now
At this point I wouldn't recommend it and instead wait for the release of the feature to avoid having to make changes from any betas
If you already got access to that then its fine and you should be able to surfance previously saved payment methods as long as you follow the beta guides.
In an older email thread where this issue was discussed I was linked to this page in your docs: https://docs.stripe.com/payments/save-during-payment?platform=web&ui=elements#save-payment-methods
Excuse me for my confusion, but I can't tell if I actually need access to the beta or not
And if I do, how do I get access
Hello
That guide shows you how you can save payment methods and retrieve it later on to charge it.. In this case, you'd list the saved payment methods in your own UI.
Beta feature is to list saved payment methods as part of the PaymentElement itself.
You can send an email to the address mentioned in our announcement here: #🔊announcements message
I don't know if the offered incentives are still available but they should be able to grant you access to the beta
