Below are links to other discussions we've had with you in the past week in case you want to review that information. If your question is related to one of these previous discussions, please provide a comprehensive summary of the current state and what you need help with now. We help many users simultaneously, so a summary allows us to resolve your issue as soon as possible.

Hello

#

Looks like you aren't actually passing in a PM ID to your attachment request?

#

Also those objects don't seem to exist anymore

#

Did you just delete your test data?

young sinew
#

This is all existing code that works with normal payment methods. It only doesn't work when using pm_card_* payment methods

austere quest
#

Hmm you aren't able to attach a test card like pm_card_visa to your Customer?

young sinew
#

Correct

austere quest
#

Can you run a fresh test and provide me the request ID for the error?

young sinew
#

yep

austere quest
#

Oh you are trying to set it as the invoice_settings.default_payment_method via an update here. That doesn't work.

#

When doing that you will get a response with an actual PM ID for the PM that was attached

#

So then you update the Customer to set the invoice_settings.default_payment_method using that PM ID

young sinew
#

We do attach it first, but we don't look at the response. So, the response is the same pm id for a normal card, and that's why it's working, right?

austere quest
#

Yes

young sinew
#

Looks like that fixes it... thanks!

Sure thing
