For connected accounts that use direct charges and where your platform isn’t liable for negative balances (including Standard accounts), those accounts handle their own disputes. The disputed funds are taken from their balance, not the platform’s.
this is the part I want clarification about, example, if my platform charges $100 vai their stripe account, and there is a 10% fee, my platform would have made $10, if this trasnaction is then subject to a dispute or charge back/fraud, does my platform account keep the $10 or would that be returned or used to compensate anything related to the charge in question
I am usure/unclear what this means ultimatly

this is a developer realted thinng I need to know how to handle it in the API/Webhooks
and what to account for inregards to the events that would occure with this transaciton
Right, but you're asking about fees and chargebacks, which we know nothing about
Do you have integration questions?
the intergraton question is would my platform receive these events regarding the connected account since the above quote says those accounts handle their own disputes
Yes, you can create a webhook endpoint to listen for Connect events
perfect, in regardst o all the other questions you think support is the best place to ask them?
Yeah, they'll have more context than us for sure
OK cause I can't figure out what the diff is when a platform vs connected account are on the hook, wish it was a bit more clear
It might be worth reading through this: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/webhooks
