Sorry this isn't very clear. Your subscription is set up to charge automatically. As long as the customer has a valid payment method configured as their default the invoice will get paid once it's generated.
What is it you are trying to do?

So its safe to mark a invoice as paid when a subscription is created? (invoice draft for a hour)

If you want to shortcut the period the Invoice is in draft status, you can call the /finalize API
