In my network tab I can see there is a secret on the invoice object which isn't documented, which is how the preview PDF url is constructed. Is this in any way accessible with the API?

hi! well you can call https://docs.stripe.com/api/invoices/upcoming with various arguments to get an Invoice object representing what you'e intending to charge. But yes you can't get a PDF or hosted page until an Invoice is finalized (I think the Dashboard does something custom).
