Have you registered the location of the customer's address already? https://docs.stripe.com/tax/registering
Do I have to register the location of customer's address ?
how do I do that from API ?
I couldn't find relevent document for registering user for tax
yes
To start calculating and collecting tax for a location, you must add a registration in Stripe. You need to identify each state, province, and country where you have tax obligations.
It's all in that doc I linked
What's the invoice id

The invoice was created before you enabled automatic tax. The subscription creation request is what created the invoice. You didn't enable automatic tax in the subscription creation request. You did that separately
You should just enable automatic tax when creating the sub
updating subscription later won't update the invoice ?
Nope
It will only affect future invoices
