Okay I think the confusion here is that you are applying an application fee on a Destination charge. This changes the funds flow a bit
With Desination Charges the Payment exists on the Platform Account. But Application Fees are taken from payments to the Connected Account. So, in order to do that, the full amount is transfered to the Connected Account and then the application fee is collected and returned back to the platform.
Do we have to do that through the API or is it automatic?
