that's something that you could collect yourself by adding your own input above the Payment Element.

yeah, I was thinking about that, but that means I'll have to do the security checking myself and build an auto-emailer, right?

what do you mean by "security checking"?
and you can add the email you collect to the Customer obejct, so that Stripe can use it to send the emails

like blacklist certain email providers and make sure they're genuine email addresses, not spam, etc.
