Hi there!

Hi

Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing. Are you referring to the ID that Visa calls a "transaction ID" and that Mastercard calls a "trace ID"?

#

or something else

frail stirrup
#

I believe that is correct. Basically the path where that ID should exist is: charge->payment_method_details->card->network_transaction_id

Got it. This is something you'll need to work with our support team on, as it's something that needs to be enabled for your account: https://support.stripe.com/contact/

You can flag both pieces to them: you like access to Network Transaction IDs and that you're referring to the values within charge->payment_method_details->card->network_transaction_id

Ok thank you

Happy to help!

Quick question on this - is there a better way to phrase this question to support? They are giving me docs on stripe issuing which has nothing to do with a charges object.

tribal wedge
#

You can clarify that this is unrelated to Issuing. Instead, you're requesting that your account be allowed access to Network Transaction IDs on Charge objects

Gotcha thank you

They may end up saying they need to continue the conversation over email

frail stirrup

Makes sense

#

Thanks again

tribal wedge

Sure thing!

frail stirrup
#

Is that an internal docs page?

#

It doesn't open for me

tribal wedge
#

Deleted that message but yes, that's an internal docs page.

#

You can tell them you can't access that page without your account being granted permission first.

Thanks - sorry for the questions, they are extremely confused for some reason.

No worries, sorry this is so difficult
