No I'm looking for my system to automatically send invoices, in a way that the documentation describes. I'm just sharing an example of how it's failed. That invoice did not send an invoice automatically, but by the rules listed here it should have

Sorry when you say "my system" you actually mean Stripe?

Well "my integration" would have been the better description yes. The system that should send the invoice is stripe if I understand the documentation correctly. But I can not get that to work

Sorry but we need to be clear about language here. When you refer to "your system" or "your integration" we will naturally consider that to mean code you write and control. Not code or logic that Stripe controls.
In this case, you are attempting to use the automated customer email functionality provided by Stripe.
