well dang. Does it ever get returned to me at any point during that connect onboarding?
I guess maybe if I did the onboarding rather than stripe.

yeah you'd have to do your own onboarding for that. But I'd recommend against this. If all you need is that EIN, ask for it separately
I can do that then. are you aware if stripe has any plans to ever provide that?
i also noticed you could set it on your invoices or something so maybe I'll take that approach

especially because it is public records pretty much
yeah though there are weird flows where that property could contain an SSN for example and there are likely countries where the tax id is sensitive so it's not as easy as just exposing it ๐ฆ
