Ok, have you checked the parent div tha contains the express checkout element, does it have enough width?

Yes, i've tried moving the express checkout element to an element with the entire viewport width. The problem seems to be that the buttons are rendering disproportionately small in mobile (and so anything I do to address it on one end, mobile/web, leads to it being weirdly sized on the othe)

I believe it's the way that you integrate it, and I can help you troubleshoot if you can provide me a public URL
