We have been using stripe for processing payments but for improvement and better security we decided to use payment sheet on Android and setup intents

I can't do anything about the api and I am asked to use the existing ones. The only api we have now is setup_intent and processing the payment through stripe
I cannot create a customer

It will take long until they get back to me. So for now can you tell me if the payment elements internally call confirm to check the setupIntent passed to them?
