I have asked before, yes; and all the support channels either route me here, or to the Stripe proper support channels. Which eventually respond with "Stripe is a payment processor".

Genuinely frustrating. So who the fuck is receiving these images? Because it is not for ID verification.

I can't help with verification, PII-related help here since this is a public channel. If you've been redirected to this Stripe Developers Discord channel (where we're chatting now) for help with this, that's incorrect and likely a misunderstanding

All I know is "discord-stripe" challenge, which eventually routes to Stripe proper, for whatever reason.

I recommend working with our support team if Discord has already said "talk to Stripe": https://support.stripe.com/contact/

and mention that you're building a developer app within Discord and need help with identity verification. You should share that verify.stripe.com screenshot in your message and state that, as far as you can tell, Discord is using Stripe Identity to verify your identity but that the verification process returns that the document you used is invalid.
