đ Welcome to your new thread!
â˛ď¸ We'll be here soon! We typically respond in a few minutes, but in some cases we might need a bit more time (e.g., server's busy, you've got a complex question, etc.).
âąď¸ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can start a new thread if you have another question.
đ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1259965377488883904

That event should trigger for any failed payment on your subscriptions. There aren't any other events that you should need to listen to here. As you noted other events are sent out, but they are always bundled together so listening to other ones would give you more info without having to make retrieve API calls. So the choice here is mostly about which event object is the most relevant to what your webhook handler wants to do. invoice.payment_failed is a pretty popular one because it will already include the invoice info and some info about the subscription that it is attached to https://docs.stripe.com/api/events/types#event_types-invoice.payment_failed
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
Thank you, very helpful!
