What do you mean "it has extra 7s"?
kindly check https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/subscriptions/sub_1PaLzl4M9E4kTTfWUCwSi3ZG last invoice https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/invoices/in_1PaM1v4M9E4kTTfWZBctfyYz, I found it is hard to set to be exactly 4 months for monthly subscription

I don't know what "extra 7s" means. Please don't abbreviate
sorry, I mean 7 seconds, may be I misunderstand it
the last invoice created, 7 seconds later, we change subscription status to be cancelled
we hope there is a way to set exactly 4 cycles, no last 5th invoice, the good thing is the last invoice is Draft and won't auto charge the customer
I compared the subscription started time and ended time, there is no seconds diff, strange. why there is 5th invoice created
start time: PDT ⢠Your account
11:09
8 Jul 2024,
end time:
PST ⢠Your account
11:09
8 Nov 2024
why 5th invoice crated?
It looks like there was a charge for that small amount of time before the subscription was canceled. You can either void that invoice, or cancel the subscription before the end of the billing cycle. If you choose not to create prorations, then you can cancel at anytime during that billing cycle without losing out on funds for the unused time, so it might be worth just calculating what the end of the billing cycle would be, then setting the cancellation time to 24 hours earlier.
sounds a plan, I thought if cancel in advanced, subscription will refund pro rata? let me do a quick test
awesome, it works. thank you so much
Woo!
https://dashboard.stripe.com/test/subscriptions/sub_1PaMXq4M9E4kTTfWTf6AfJWY I finish the subscription advanced 1 hour, perfectly
