Q4. When I look at Stripe Tax Report, payment_intent_id does not exist for Refund, how do I know which payment it is for?
Q5. What are the date range limitations when calling the Stripe Create Report Run API? Can I download more than one year of information?
Q6. When calling the Checkout Session API, do I need to include automatic_tax[enabled] to use the Stripe Tax feature? Instead of having a specific option when calling the Checkout Session API, could we adjust whether to enable or disable this in the Stripe dashboard? I don't want to have to develop source code for tax settings.

  1. It really depends on your use use
  2. You can export to Google Cloud Storage first, and check with Google if Google BigQuery supports Google Cloud Storage
  3. What API do you use?
  4. Refunds object contains payment_intent_id. ref: https://docs.stripe.com/api/refunds/object#refund_object-payment_intent
  5. I don't see a limit on the API reference https://docs.stripe.com/api/reporting/report_run/create#create_reporting_report_run-parameters-currency
  6. Yes you need to include automatic_tax[enabled] to use the Stripe Tax

Q3. When issuing Stripe Tax Report via API, there is no payment_intent_id by default. Only if I put certain options, the payment_intent_id will appear in the csv. I wonder if payment_intent_id will be provided when using Data Pipeline (I need a mapping key to know which payment is tax information).

=> What API do you use?

=>
I use Create a Report Run API

The essence of my question is whether the payment_intent_id is included when using the Stripe -> Google Cloud Storage feature using the data pipeline feature without calling the API.

Q4. When I look at Stripe Tax Report, payment_intent_id does not exist for Refund, how do I know which payment it is for?

=> Refunds object contains payment_intent_id. ref: https://docs.stripe.com/api/refunds/object#refund_object-payment_intent

=> The essence of my question is that if I set Tax Report to ALL in the Stripe Dashboard and download it, I can see the payment_intent_id. But if it's a refund, there is no payment_intent_id. How can I tell from the CSV which payment it's a refund for? Please see the attached picture.

=> Yes you need to include automatic_tax[enabled] to use the Stripe Tax

=> The Stripe documentation says that I can use the Stripe Tax feature based on No Code by toggling the setting on and off in the Stripe Dashboard, but do I really need to put automatic_tax[enabled]?

Can you share with me the link to the doc where it tell you No code is needed?

#

And sorry I'm unable to help you question related to the missing payment_intent IDs, can you reach out to support https://support.stripe.com/contact/email ?

Can you share with me the link to the doc where it tell you No code is needed?

=> you can check this link (https://stripe.com/tax)
=> It looks like you can use Stripe Tax with No Code, and it looks like you can use Stripe Tax with Low Code.

"If you’re using one of Stripe’s no-code products, such as Invoicing and Payment Links, you can collect taxes with the click of a button in the Dashboard."

#

Are you using PaymentLinks?

#

It's only applicable for no-code products such as PaymentLinks, if you are using checkout sessions API, you still need to enable Stripe tax in the creation request.
