Hello! You would need to remove the default from the Customer to prevent it from being used for Subscription payments.

Can Customers that we add via the API to our business have their default payment method set to Link or a credit card if they've used Stripe to transact with other businesses under that same email?
Said differently, the moment that a new customer is created, will they ever have a default payment method? Or will it only be assigned once they attempt to transact with us (at which point the payment method is captured and added as their default).
