Hello, lookin in to this. Can you tell me more specifically what your steps with the remediation link are to get to that error?
Thanks for the question, I enter a test phone number and email on the first screen of the remediation flow, and then on the second page I'm asked to put in an SMS code.
Ah since this is test mode I think you can enter all 0s
Yes, this is what I was entering based on https://docs.stripe.com/connect/testing#creating-accounts, but it still gave the above error.
And nothing is getting sent to your actual phone number?
Also I would recommend deleting the image with your phone number in it if that is your real number. This is a public server so any details here can be seen by anyone else on the server
Thanks for flagging, but this is a test number, I haven't used my personal number for this
Ah I do see that it ends in 1234567, I saw Irish number and think I stopped reading at that point. Trying to test this myself...
But you have tested with your real number and nothing gets sent there?
I haven't tested with my personal number; is it expected that the text will still be sent in test mode?
Not sure, just asking while testing myself. All 0s does work for me in test mode and I also see a button for using a test number at the top of the page the remediation link brings me to
And my test account has a similar test phone number too ๐ค
Oh, that's very interesting, because even though the page itself says "Test mode" (like in the picture above), I don't see any button for using all 0's.
Ah, it's resolved
To use 000-000 on the second screen, I needed to use 0000000 specifically as the test phone number. This gets filled out when clicking "the test phone number" on the first screen, which I had been overlooking
Good find! That is very interesting. The test phone number on my account was all 0s which explains why I was seeing that
Thanks very much for the help, I don't have any further questions on this. Thanks!
