Payment Links are meant for a one-to-many integration
The Customer object is created when your customer visits the Payment Link

Yep
You can look at the Customer associated with the Subscription
In terms of a trial, you set that via subscription_data.trial_period_days when you create your Payment Link: https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_links/payment_links/create#create_payment_link-subscription_data-trial_period_days
