๐ Welcome to your new thread!
โฒ๏ธ We'll be here soon! We typically respond in a few minutes, but in some cases we might need a bit more time (e.g., server's busy, you've got a complex question, etc.).
โฑ๏ธ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can start a new thread if you have another question.
๐ This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1257428068075700307
๐ Have more to share? Add details, code, screenshots, videos, etc. below.
For those events the timeout is 20 seconds. Unfortunately not seeing more at the moment, just that we did not hear anything back from your server. I will look deeper at our logs and will let you know if I can fidn anything
Not seeing anything on our side unfortunately. Have you or your hosting provider been able to check if any traffic from our webhook IPs is getting blocked? https://docs.stripe.com/ips#webhook-notifications
We do have those IPs whitelisted on our end, they should not be blocked. Any chance you might have the specific IPs that correspond to the above request failures?
Just as a sanity check, I could see if we're receiving/handling the traffic just fine from such an IP in other cases.
Good question. I will check in to that and get back to you
Apologies, still looking in to this. It is taking a bit for me to build the query for this properly
No rush! I appreciate you taking the time to look
The three IPs that I can see timeouts from are 54.187.216.72, 54.187.174.169, and 54.187.205.235 but your server is responding to plenty of other events from these same IPs so it definitely isn't that those specific IPs are being blocked by your network.
Agreed
๐ Stepping in for my teammate here. I wasn't sure if there were any other topics to discuss, hence my silence. In terms of next steps, I recommend reviewing any logs you may have access to on your end during the timestamps that correspond to the events you shared. If you've already reviewed these and still need help, I think this investigation would be best handled over email instead of Discord. I recommend reaching out to our Support team about this: https://support.stripe.com/contact/
You can mention in your message that you chatted about this with developer support over Discord and link to your thread: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1257428068075700307
