If you integrate your web application with the JavaScript SDK, you can run it in a mobile browser as long as the mobile device is connected to the same local network as the reader and devices on that network can communicate directly with one another.
Hmm i guess i should build a react native app to get the offline transactions feature. But i need an app on device then?

the application is not running on the S700 itself, it just means e.g. you have an iPad running a web page that has your POS software as a web app, and it connects to the S700 locally
