hi! what do you mean by " the success callback"? do you mean the incoming HTTP request your server gets from a webhook?

Hi - I mean the success_url I define when starting the CheckoutSession via HTTP - the payment was successful and did respond correctly to my success_url, but from an unexpected IP address

that IP is just the customer's IP.

the success_url is visited by the customer's browser, they're redirected there after the payment. It's nothing to do with the Stripe infastructure.
