Hello! Payment Request Button is legacy and not recommended. You should use the Express Checkout Element instead: https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element

Hi rubeus, cheers for the response. Does this work with the initially mentioned guide in question i.e. stripe elements (PaymentElement) and not having to create a paymnet intent before collecting the payment information? Also is there a guide/docs available for react?

Yes, Express Checkout Element does not require a Payment Intent up front. There are React docs, yep. Here, for example: https://docs.stripe.com/elements/express-checkout-element/accept-a-payment
