š Welcome to your new thread!
ā²ļø We'll be here soon! We typically respond in a few minutes, but in some cases we might need a bit more time (e.g., server's busy, you've got a complex question, etc.).
ā±ļø We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can start a new thread if you have another question.
š This thread will always be available, even after it's closed. You can find it again using Discord's search, or you can save this link: https://discord.com/channels/841573134531821608/1255247176876167293

i think we're supposed to do this instead:
// Retrieve the "setup_intent_id" query parameter appended to
// your return_url by Stripe.js
const setupIntentId = new URLSearchParams(window.location.search).get(
'setup_intent'
);
// Retrieve the SetupIntent
stripe
.retrieveSetupIntent(setupIntentId)
Hello
As far as I know, the return URL should have both values, setup_intent and setup_intent_client_secret
and retrieveSetupIntent method takes in the client secret
https://docs.stripe.com/js/setup_intents/retrieve_setup_intent
So the docs are accurate I think. Are you seeing something else in your tests?
oh ok, my bad. i was looking at the wrong api docs then
but its also not working for me
it keeps returning 404 when i pass in the setup_intent_client_secret
There must be more details than just 404.
Can you check what path is resulting in 404?
