We create first a setup intent, then when it is ok we create a payment intent which is charge later

if we create the payment intent, until we charge later, the money is blocked in their banks?

or as we leave the capture_method as automatic, it will not happen

Hello

A PaymentIntent is not authorized until it is successfully confirmed

So if you just create a PaymentIntent without confirming it then nothing happens

If you create and confirm it with capture_method: automatic then the charge is immediate

If you use capture_method: manual then the payment method is authorized but not captured until you specify to capture it
