Hi
noor_reactnative-questions
@daring nest hello! Can I ask you to write one clear message with a clear question? You just said the word "heavy" with no context and now each new sentence is posted sequentially with no context.
Take a few minutes, carefully write one unique message explaining the issue clearly
same this
now if open the payment ูู app It starts to get heavy
But if you are on Expo it seems without problems
@daring nest please read what I said above and try to explain your question. You posted a question and 6 separate sentences and none of them added any information about what you are asking or mean.
I'm sorry but I really need you to read my words and then take a few minutes to write a clear question
But without Expo and on Android Studio it becomes heavy
Please READ what I said, you are just saying the same "heavy" word with no context. Please acknowledge that you read what I said.
wait
I have a react native app with android studio and inside the app I have payment element https://docs.stripe.com/payments/accept-a-payment?platform=react-native&ui=payment-sheet
Now in the application, when I click on payment and payment opens, the application becomes heavy because of stripe, or rather, this happens when I pay through it, and the problem is not with the phone because I tried on a more powerful phone and the same problem, but if I use expo, it appears as if nothing happened.
I don't know what to explain this problem
Do you understand now or continue the explanation?
Unfortunately no I don't. I have never heard any developer say their "application becomes heavy" and I have no idea what it means unfortunately.
I mean that the application becomes heavier to use
When paying
heavy and heavier are the same words. A rock is heavy, or a car. I don't know what an app becoming heavy means to you unfortunately ๐ฆ
Can you think of a different word to explain what you mean?
I don't mean a car๐
wait
I know, I just gave examples of what the word mean to me. I'm not a native speaker so maybe I'm missing some alternative use but I've never seen a developer talk about code that way
I mean that the application becomes as if it consumes phone parts such as CPU when opening payment
Hmmm okay I think I am understanding what you are saying. You basically say that it takes a lot of resources and so the phone becomes slow/unresponsive?
Like when you open say Tiktok or Instagram and it takes 5 seconds to download enough data to show the front page (especially with slow network)?
Almost exactly like this
But I tested the same thing on another powerful phone and it has the same problem, and the other applications are fine
Sure but it could be anything. Is the UI just slow? Or are there other issues?
The problem only occurs within payment
This is really vague unfortunately, it could be anything honestly. How are you measuring this? Have you added logs to your code to figure out which part(s) of the code are slow? For example maybe you do something like make a call to your server when you click a button?
It only shows if it is ready for the payment process and when the payment is completed
Then I don't really know how to debug this sorry. The next step would be to contact our support team with details about your code, your exact device you are testing on and likely a video of what you are seeing and they should be able to help you investigate this further
Sure, sorry I couldn't help more!
have a good day
