Hi, let me help you with this.
Could you please share examples of Link and card as the type of PaymentMethod?
Could you please share the PaymentIntent ID pi_xxx?
pi_3PSeanLLAsLlRiDe11nriLE7
And the other one?
Those payments were just made with different 'modes' of Link. Different surfaces creating Link PMs in different ways currently
That's just reflected in the UI
Alright, but say that I want to display the saved Link card in my frontend. For one of the modes, I can easily display the card as it is saved as a card in Stripe. But for the other "mode", no card is saved that I can present. Do I then have to display it as a "Link" payment method in my frontend without any additional card info?
Well the API shape of each is reflected here: https://docs.stripe.com/api/payment_methods/object
But yes, if type: 'link' you can't get the card details (last4 etc)
Complete reference documentation for the Stripe API. Includes code snippets and examples for our Python, Java, PHP, Node.js, Go, Ruby, and .NET libraries.
Alright. Some feedback then is that it would be convenient if different surfaces created the same "mode" of Link. Thanks for the help though
