Hi 👋 if you're not using payment_settings.payment_method_types when creating the Subscription, then it is using automatic payment methods. There is a different page for controlling which payment method types are used for Invoices and Subscriptions though, you'll need to enable the desired payment method types in your Invoice settings here:

You're looking for the Payment methods section near the bottom of the Invoice settings section, there's a manage button there to adjust those.
