Hi
When you create a Subscription, the invoice is paid at the start of the period and not the end
is there a way to invert this so user pays the end of the invoice?
No currenty this is not supported natively... but you can achieve this by workarounds (like apply a 100% off coupon, and at the end of the billing period you issue a seprate/one-time invoice)
Can i set a future date which the invoice is effective?
There'll be no link between the Subscription and the invoice on Stripe Side... you need to maintain that link by your integration.
Like you create a one-time payment invoice and charge the customer at the end of the Subsciprtion's period
Sorry I meant the effective date of the first phase of the subscription
What you mean exacly ? can you share a concrete example?
So I am setting up two phases of subscription schedule. first phase which covers 13- 17th is billed today but can i delay the day on when is it effective to 17th?
You create your subscription schedule normally (as you are creating it currently with no differnce)
just you can apply a 100% discount
and charge the customer sepratly/manually at the end of their billing period via your own integration.
