You can call stripe.retrievePaymentIntent() in your webpate to retrieve the latest payment status and show to your customer.

But what should we do with cart, should we lock the cart as soon as customer initiates the payment?

Thanks. But what is your view (expert opinion 🙂 ) to handle the exception cases like internet droping or customer closing the browser after redirection happens from Stripe to our website (post Authoization). As you are SME and have idea about many such implementations, we are looking forward to your advise.

I can only provide advices related to Stripe payments, I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with cart management for e-commerce websites.
