Hi @half cave
Hi ๐ I'm a little confused by the shape of your question. Was this advice we gave you before? If so, did you actually run a test with it and can share related context of it not working? The way you phrased the question makes it sound like you're guessing it won't work.
Was this advice we gave you before?
Yes
If so, did you actually run a test with it and can share related context of it not working?
Code won't compile as the attribute is not writable for BluetoothConnectionConfiguration
Okay, yeah I see, offhand it doesn't look like that value is supported unless you're using an InternetConnectionConfiguration:
https://stripe.dev/stripe-terminal-android/external/com.stripe.stripeterminal.external.models/-connection-configuration/index.html
The way you phrased the question makes it sound like you're guessing it won't work.
Well, I don't want to sound too sure of myself when I may be missing something silly
๐
That may be causing the confussion
But again, it doesn't seem to work for BluetoothConnectionConfiguration
The context about the error you were encountering being provided up front would have given me more context on your concern more quickly, but it's alright, we still seem to have gotten there.
Yup, the doc I linked to doesn't show that value is support for that configuration type.
Here's the context of the previous conversation
It might help you understand what I was originally asking
so, if you have any other ideas of what I might help my use case, then let me know
if not, I will try to stick to the idea of canceling when the app is either paused or detached
What's your use case? The server is very busy right now, so if you can summarize your outstanding question, as suggested in our message near the beginning of the thread, that would be greatly appreciated.
