Okay, I see this Invoice is created automatically as part of a parent Subscription.

Almost at the start of every month, there's a call to update the Subscription, where automatic_tax.enabled: false
In the Invoice you shared, there was a request to create a manual Invoice Item and attach it to the invoice: https://dashboard.stripe.com/logs/req_WcjJk6vzIc9IqX

Looks like AvaTax has been connected for some time but I recommend checking in with AvaTax support to see if any settings were changed recently since you mentioned this was a recent calculation/addition to your invoices.
