đ Welcome to your new thread!
â˛ď¸ We'll be here soon! We typically respond in a few minutes, but in some cases we might need a bit more time (e.g., server's busy, you've got a complex question, etc.).
âąď¸ We close idle threads, which makes them read-only. Once a thread is closed it won't be reopened, but you can start a new thread if you have another question.

Hello! No, you can't reduce the amount of KYC information required.
Also, I'm not sure your use case is supported on Stripe. You should write in to support to make sure what you want to build is okay: https://support.stripe.com/contact/email
That is something we have already discussed with support. When is the identification upload required? I noticed a test account was tagged as enabled without it
I can't tell you when a specific piece of information will be required. It depends on many factors, and is subject to change at any time.
I see. So if we use a prebuilt onboarding tool would it just require the upload?
If you use our hosted onboarding it will take care of asking for whatever's needed, yeah.
