@tidal anchor just to reframe the question: You want the Coupon to be applied to the already issued Invoice that has failed payment a few times? Or to future Invoices?

Gotcha, then it's not possible to apply a Coupon to an already issued Invoice. What you can do though is use a CreditNote to lower the amount: https://docs.stripe.com/invoicing/dashboard/credit-notes

In your documentation it says that invoices waiting payment are still in an open state, which means we should be able to apply a coupon to it? Are you sure that coupons can't be applied if the payment hasn't been collected yet?

@tidal anchor I am certain, the Invoice is finalized at that point and a coupon can't be added.
