Yeah that's not possible. Only thing you could do is hide the postal code field completely and then collect it yourself separately in your own input. But imo that is likely a worse experience.

damn that's a shame. Is there a backlog this suggestion could be added to? At least to reduce the opacity of the placeholder so it's more obvious it's placeholder and not a completed input
