Looks like that's how the API works. a coupon is concidered redeemed as soon as you add it to an Invoice.
Alright, is this a case of: "It's not a bug, it's a feature"?
Because, in my opinion a coupon is not being redeemed, when I didn't actually use it.

Alright, any other way to work around that in the meantime? I want one user to only redeem the coupon once.
no that's not somthing we support unfortunately. so that's something that you'll need to track on your end.
