hello! the line item description is taken from the Product from what I recall, so that's not really possible unless you create a new product each time

I have looked through all the docs, and a requirement we are being asked for is to identify for example what client the line item relates to. This needs to appear on the invoice
Because we have to handle so many different names etc this becomes too hard to maintain to make thousands of specific line items just to show a name on the invoice to which the charges relate to.
Perhaps there is another way to display this client name on the invoice somewhere?

When looking at custom_fields during he checkout session, can we capture the client_name this way and would it then save that for recurring payments when the subscription checkout session "subscribe" button is clicked, and therefore show on the invoice every recurring payment?
