Hi there 👋 no, a Subscriptions recurring payment will not trigger checkout.session.completed Events, those are only triggered when a customer completes a checkout session flow.
You can use Test Clocks to test the full lifecycle of your Subscription integration and see exactly which Events are generated when your Subscriptions move to their next billing period:

When the billing period changes, you should see Events like customer.subscription.updated and invoice.created
