I would say it depends on the 'store' that is asking for your API keys – does it look legit? Is it well known?

But yes, it's common for third-party plugins to request API keys for your Stripe account so they can facilitate payments on your behalf

As far as the first question u asked it seems legit, the only thing i was worried about was if api keys has other roles than that
