hey there, you can use those customers and payment methods for direct charges on that account, yes, but not on the paltform itself.

So we can create direct charges as the platform account on their Standard account as documented here? https://docs.stripe.com/connect/direct-charges And I assume we'd be able to query for those customers/payment methods on their connected account as the platform to display in our app for example?

Yes, if there are customers with payment methods on the connected account you'd be able to use those with direct charges. Note though that you may be connected to a new isolated account for the user if they're already connected to a controlling platform: https://docs.stripe.com/connect/oauth-changes-for-standard-platforms
